Consumerism (överkonsumtion) leads to bigger competion, for the food the farmers make, higher food prices leads to more expensive foods (for the poor n rich). Higer prices for the poor leads to starvation. Don't consume food in excess, and buy local products (or fair-trade products ofc). Love thy neighbour (even though he's far away, or atleast don't kill him)! Waste a matter of life and death!

Europe and the U.S throw away food equaling the amount that could take away starvation worldwide times 3. We are bastards/leacher/slayers of poor, of the world and we don't even realise it.. And a EU-farmers cow recieves 3000 euro in EU-support/grants each years. 10% of the ppl worldwide live on 365 euros a year in avarage.. And we throw over 50% of our produced food (taking the industri waste in acount). THIS IS MADNESS.
